Refrigerant R410A
Refrigerant R410A is a mixture of freons R-32 and R-125 in equal proportion: 50/50.
This freon replaced the R-22. A distinctive feature is that it has a higher specific heat capacity, which means it can take away more heat with the same volume, and thus manufacturers can reduce the size of heat exchangers when using it.
Freon R410A is almost 50% more efficient than R22, but condensation pressure is 50% higher, which requires the use of more powerful compressors, as well as parts and components in equipment. None of the components of freon does not contain chlorine, so it is safe for the ozone layer (the ozone-depleting potential is zero).
